Cragun’s Legacy Courses is excited to announce partnership with Minnesota’s most decorated PGA Tour professional & golf course designer  – Tom Lehman. The Lehman Design Group is focused on making the golf course more playable along with using the natural contours of this beautiful piece of property. This ten-million-dollar golf course renovation and expansion started in April of 2021 and will continue through the fall of 2024. When this project is complete the Legacy will be a true golfer’s paradise offering 54 holes of golf in Brainerd, MN.

The “Dutch 27” will feature three renovated nines, (red, white, & blue) offering players the variety of three different 18-hole combinations. Every hole on this course has been touched by the renovation from white sand to newly paved cart paths throughout. The “Lehman 18” will be Tom’s signature 7400-yard championship golf course. This course layout moves perfectly through this 1000-acre wooded sanctuary working its way around Stephens Lake and through many of our other natural wetlands, a true Minnesota backdrop. Not to be outdone, our reversible par 3 course is a perfect place to work on your short irons or introduce a beginner to the game. Each of these courses offer a variety of tee box options to accommodate all skill levels.

Breezy Point Resort is home to two 18-hole championship courses, Deacon’s Lodge (designed by Arnold Palmer) and Whitebirch, plus indoor golf simulators, lessons and stay-and-play packages. Two new par-3 short courses, Traditional 10 and Ace Valley, are under construction and set to open in summer 2027 alongside a new clubhouse.

Whitebirch Golf Course

The first championship golf course in the Brainerd Lakes Area, Whitebirch offers more than 6,700 yards of tree-lined fairways, large undulating greens and multiple tee boxes. It plays a little shorter and friendlier than its neighbor Deacon’s Lodge, with drivable par fours, a driving range, a well-stocked pro shop and dining nearby at Antlers Restaurant.

Gravel Pit Golf Course

Designed by Scott Hoffmann Golf, the Gravel Pit transformed a former gravel pit into a links-style golf experience. The original 13-hole course is blanketed in fescue with water features and sweeping views, and a second 10.5-hole course opened in 2024 for players of all abilities. The clubhouse overlooks the course and hosts events and parties.

Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf
