Purple Fern-Cold Process Soap Class
In this class you will be introduced to the how to make beautiful handmade soap from scratch. We will be covering basic definitions, ingredients, process, equipment, tools, lye safety, and clean-up as relating to cold-process soap making. You will learn about oils, colorants, fragrances, and formulations. Participants will be making a 1-pound batch of soap in-class to take home. All supplies and equipment will be provided to use during class, this includes safety goggles, aprons, and gloves. We will be working with sodium hydroxide (lye), so be sure to wear long sleeves and pants, and closed toe shoes. Ages 18 & older only. Class is limited to 6 participants.
Trivia Mafia at Roundhouse
Trivia Mafia comes Roundhouse Wednesday nights. Use your noodle, not your Google! All aboard this train and test your skills against your friends, or even a stranger. Prizes awarded but most importantly, bragging rights. Taco Bar from Sénôr Patron from 5:00-7:30 come for a bite and a beer ? stay for trivia!
